  • 3 cups cooked quinoa (and/or brown rice, see notes)
  • 3/4 cup oat flour (a “dry ingredient” like, almond meal, breadcrumbs, etc.)

  • 1 Tbsp. spices (chili powder, paprika, and/or cumin will work)

    These came out really well. There is conflicting info in the recipe. One version says 4 eggs and one says 2 eggs. I used 2. Make sure you use a lot of spices, otherwise they're flavorless! I used fresh garlic and parsley and dried basil, oregano and red pepper flakes, but maybe the chili powder and paprika would've been the way to go. Definitely need a sauce accompaniment!

    The taste was way better than i thought it would be! However, the texture was a bit off. I would make again but it definitely took a lot of work.

    Incredible! did half the recipe and they came out perfectly! my trick was doing half the cauli and quinoa, 2 eggs, but the full 3/4 cup of bread crumbs. have made them 3 times and they have been perfect every time.

    Have to agree with the last comment, adding 4 eggs made them super runny and no amount of flour made them able to be turned into balls. Will use the basic idea again but won’t follow this recipe.

    It was okay but I could never make the balls. Added a ton more of flour and nothing :(

    Super bland, even with increasing the amount of spices. Could have done with so much more. Even sauce couldn't save them. Will drown the ones I have left in tomato sauce but will never make this again.

    Absolutely delicious! Made the marsala sauce to go with them. Very tasty. A little time consuming but definitely worth it.

    I didn't have a food processor, so I just simply used a potato masher to mash the cauliflower and quinoa together. It worked beautifully plus I didn't have to clean the food processor after. Great recipe!

    Yummy! Made these for a baby shower & served it with BBQ sauce. They were a hit and I’m making it again for the next shower!

    It was very hard to get them the right consistency and did not care for the flavor of the sauce that goes along with the recipe. Also, it took me nearly 1 hour and a half to make everything!!

    These turned out really well. They needed a lot more of the dry ingredient than stated and I baked them for an hour at 200C instead of frying. My 11 month old was obsessed with them. He hates getting his hands dirty and his hands were shoving these in his mouth.

    They was really good. i baked them for an hour instead of frying them. they are crunchy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. they are perfect.

    The meatballs ended up being flatter because they were to runny to make into balls. However, it all tasted great.

    This is incredible! I would suggest if you are doing the full meal with the masala sauce that you budget yourself sufficient time to prep all the components. The outcome for this meal is sooooo dreamy!!

    It was okay. Next time I need to add more breadcrumbs and garlic. I experimented sautéing like directed and baking with marinara. If I make these again I will add way more marinara sauce and bake for 20-ish minutes.

    Took WAY more than an hour. I had to add more oat flour to the recipe to get a consistency where I could roll it into balls. I made them with the recommended sauce - which I loved - but the veggie balls, themselves, were bland. MEH! I won't make these again!

    This recipe definitely took more than an hour. I was unable to get the consistency to make it into a ball. I dropped it into the skillet with a large spoon and formed it into a patty that fell apart whenever I flipped it over. I cooked it in coconut oil until it was crispy. It was so yummy, I ended up eating it with a spoon.

    I didn't use the spices recommended but instead used Swedish meatball spices and sauce. A MAZ ING. The consistency was perfect, used the nitribullet to pulse ( not easy but it worked) . made this for a second time. consistency gets a bit mushy when you add ssuce so i would recommend using sauce sparingly if st all.
