This was a really easy simple recipe and it was really good I made it for someone recovering from a surgery and I got a request for more they loved it

A I’ve been making this at least once a week for more than a year. It’s lovely served warm with a little cream or cold as a too go snack.
I make it with bananas or peach.
When I use tinned peaches use the juices, reduce the milk accordingly and half the sugar.

I around 4 times the original recipe and put a pumpkin pie spice strudel on top of it (I didn’t have cinnamon so I put it in the strudel and the oatmeal dish) and I put some steel cut oats with some old fashioned oats and I used applesauce in place of eggs

This was so easy to make and I loved it. This is my new go to self-care breakfast! I eat it with walnuts and maple syrup..... so good y’all. So good. Alone it’s pretty bland, so adding nuts, berries, yogurt, etc is a must.

It tasted like overnight oats. I love overnight oats, but this seems to be a a round about way to get that flavor. It uses more oats per person, it still needs to sit for an hour or more. Not very budget friendly. I’d rather make overnight oats.

All went well, I didn’t wait the hour to let it soak and it turned out well still. So that step could be skipped if your running short on time!!!

This is excellent. I have made it several times adding raisins or crasins. I use instant oat and let it sit for 5 minutes instead of overnight

Good base recipe for endless variations. Raisins are a good addition, as well as replacing some of the brown sugar with honey.

Delicious! I doubled the butter and cut the milk back to 1 cup and added some wild blueberries! My family requesrs this for breakfast every morning.

Fantastic! My family loved it topped with cream and fresh berries. They even eat it as a snack at night.
