This peaked my interest as I rarely drink alcohol...So I followed the recipe exactly and the lemon was too overpowering. So I made a second glass and used just a slight squirt of lemon and used maple syrup instead of honey and I love it! So easy to adjust sweetness with maple syrup. Even after it's in ice. Unlike honey which won't stir and instantly dissolve in a glass with ice. My husband liked it as well. Wants to add a touch of whiskey with it next time.
