This recipe turned out amazing! Only thing I didn't do was use allspice and I did a 1/2 cup of sugar instead of 1/4.

Turned out well, didn't use cloves. Pre-baking pie crust resulted in a better pie overall. I recommend this recipe.

This was delicious. Definitely a keeper!

It needed a couple fresh apples sliced up to give it a little body.

Yuk! Cinnamon pie with apples. Had you limited step 7 to "Squeeze the lemon over the apples. Add...brown sugar, flour...and salt. Toss the apples until evenly coated", the result may have been more "classic apple pie". This one is too rich for me.

tasty filling. the trick of "pre-cooking" the bottom pie crust results in a crisp and light bottom pie crust...it was wonderful. appreciate this great tip!
