use dry white wine instead of sherry and no sugar, it won't be sweet

I haven't made the soup yet but right off the top I can tell you, if it was too sweet, eliminate the 1T of sugar. Onions have natural sugar in them which adds enough for a savory dish like onion soup.

Maybe I did something wrong, but I didn't care for this soup. It was way too sweet!

Amazing! Not too rich or sweet, just right! I replaced the sherry with more beef stoke. We will defiantly be making the soup again!

This was, hands down, one of the best meals I've ever made. Recipe took 90 minutes, not 35 as stated
