I substituted diced russet potatoes and turned out great! Yum!

It turned out great! I will definitely be making this again. Followed directions, omitting any salt and pepper so individuals could season to personal preference. I made this again and used a few tips from other members. I used half water and half beef broth and added a tablespoon and a half of pickling spice. It really bumped up the flavor!

Absolutely delicious!

It turned out great! The meat was super tender and lacked the overly salty flavor I used to get by throwing everything in the crockpot and letting it go! While it took a little more effort, I’ll never go back!

Very easy! The meat cut like butter!!!! Delicious!!!! Will start making this WAY more often than just at St Pattys Day!!! We loved it! My first time ever to make corned beef and cabbage! Dessert was Blueberry Lemon Irish Soda Bread

Easy peasy supper for my Irish man. Was surprised how much the beef reduced in size after 3 1/2hours of simmering. Added extra spices as suggested in recipe plus a few more veggies, celery & peas

It was delicious! I used to throw it all in the pot together and the veggies would be quite soggy. I will use this recipe from now on.

I added beer and extra veggies. Came out great. I do wish they included more seasoning with the meat tho.

Original recipe was great! I added a few extra vegetables.
Everything I added: parsnips, purple carrots, Brussels sprouts (instead of cabbage), garlic, baby carrots, rosemary/thyme.

Best corned beef and cabbage I ever made! I did cut up the cabbage into smaller wedges than I usually do since the cook time was so short which worked out great.

This boiled corned beef dinner taste just as it should! The cabbage needs more than 5 minutes. It isn’t supposed to be as stiff as lettuce.

This is a great recipe! I did make a couple tweaks though. I Irished it up with a can of Guinness and they never give enough spice with the corned beef so I added about 1 1/2 tablespoons of pickling spice.

It was quick, easy and a crowd pleaser. I will use this recipe going forward!
