- 2 bay leaves
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 4 oz. cheddar cheese (shredded, or Monterey Jack cheese)
- 2 tsp. honey
- 15 oz. corn (canned, drained and rinsed, fresh off the cob if available)
- 9 oz. chorizo (Mexican, without casings)
