This is very quick and easy to prepare and extremely tasty. I used a pressure cooker and had a magnificent dinner in about 30 minutes.

Very yummy! Good combination of many spices. I added okra found in my refrigerator, it was actually pretty good.

This was good. New flavors working with cinnamons in the stews, but nonetheless enjoyable. Happy with the change

Absolutely love this soup! The flavors are amazing together. The cinnamon comes through well. One bowl keeps you full for a very long time afterwards without making you feel weighed down. Added feta cheese crumbles on top.

This soup was so tasty! I had quite a bit left over which is awesome because I get to eat more of it tomorrow!

Lovely stew with some North African flavours. The goats cheese is the icing on the cake. Definitely adding to the repertoire.

I thought this was wonderful! I didn't have red harissa - I added red pepper flakes instead. Yummy! I will be making this again!

Turned out well with a nice heat because I used hot smoked paprika and I had a delicious rose harissa that was a gift from my sister. Gorgeous colours & flavours. Perfect thing to eat on a cold winter’s night with homemade bread and a glass of vino.

I added 1/2 cup of water per the instructions and the consistency was spot on. I didn’t have harissa so i added 1T garam masala and 1T salt. Cooked on low for 6 hrs and the flavor turned out great! Also added some cayenne for a little kick..... Otherwise followed directions. Definitely making again!

It was a bit too salty but otherwise healthy

My experience with many of these slow-cooking soup recipes is that they're pretty bland, and I have to add a lot of salt and extra seasonings at the end. This was the case here. I didn't have harissa so I substituted 1T of berbere and 1T of garam masala as a commenter on the blog suggested. When it was finished, I ended up adding more berbere; white, red, and black pepper; and a ton of salt so it would have flavor. The instructions were very unclear as to how much water to add. Water is not included on the ingredients list, but 1/2 cup is mentioned in the directions, and the blog writer says 2 cups in the comments section. I went with 1/2 cup and the consistency was fine.

i made this last night, it's very filling. i added sour cream to the finished dish because i didn't have Greek yogurt and it was delicious

Substituted a home made pepper sauce for harissa. It was yummy by a little spicy hot!

Really flavorful. Add more liquid though. I also added turmeric and more cumin. so good for a vegetarian meal.
