This turned out amazing! The pork shoulder I was able to find was 6.75 lb (the recipe calls for 6 lb) but there was no issue with the amount of brine or marinade and the cook time was spot on. I would say try to pierce the meat at least halfway through before putting it in the brine/marinade just to get the flavor to penetrate and permeate. But otherwise, 1) it was very juicy and tender. 2) the combination of all the flavors is great. It left me wishing I was still hungry at the end of the meal.
