I used melted butter instead of room temp… may have contributed to the crumbly mess I had. The dough itself tastes good but it took a lot of work to make the crumbs turn into a usable dough. Even then, rolling it it tended to crumble. C’est la vie.

I like this recipe because the more you work with it the softer it gets but still holds the cut out shape. My grandson always asks me if I’ve made these cookies whenever he comes over! ❤️

This recipe yielded a dough way too dry to be able to use, I had to throw it out. I used the weight measurements as well.

SUPER crumbly. Very dry, and followed the instructions to the T. Didn’t form dough and couldn’t make cookies. Very disappointed, I don’t recommend this recipe.

These cookies were FABULOUS!!! I made sure to follow the notes at the end of the recipe - they worked perfectly. Valentine cookie making night with four kids is no joke... and these were well loved by everyone. I used my kitchen-aid mixer, quick, simple and soooo good. Just hoping my husband and I don't destroy them all tonight. ;-)

I mean, taste cannot go wrong with vanilla, sugar, butter, and eggs. But they were so miserably crumbly that they were more like an apple crisp topping. Not rollable at all. Added water on my hands and it sort of got better, but geez. Destroyed the whole school night baking project with the 3.5 year old. Boooo.

I followed the instructions and the batter was super crumbled... I was so upset but my mommma taught me to never waste food so I added 3 tbsp of butter and I must say... thats what it needed

These turned out bad!!!!!! The mix was super crumble so I added more milk!!!!! And still did not taste good!

Turned out great I love vanilla so I added a tablespoon to the recipe. It was prefect and very tasty. Soft with a slight crunch on the ends like the perfect sugar cookie.

These were horrible to make! The recipe warns they were potentially crumbly but they ended up being impossible to roll out without falling into a million pieces of dust. I ended up following the recommendations in the comments to add 3 tbsn of milk and more vanilla. Only then could I roll them out in some semblance.

Next time I will use less flour or I may have added too much of something. Had the kids help out today so it’s possible. Will try it again for a reliable rating.

Best Sugar Cookies Ever!!! I loved these cookies they were super easy to make and were soft and delicious. I tweaked the recipe just a little and added 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract instead of 1 teaspoon. This little change made a huge difference in making it moist and easy to roll. Another tip for making this would be that you need to pour the flour into a measuring cup instead of scooping it because when you scoop it you get a packed cup of flour and that will make the dough dry ( When the flour is in a packed cup there is more flour making the wet to dry ingredients ratio off ). I wanted to decorate my cookies so 6-8 minutes left the cookies too soft so I baked them for 9-10 minutes. Overall BEST SUGAR COOKIES EVER. Enjoy 😁😁😁
