This turned out amazing, but I had to add significantly more flour (about an extra 1/4c) and still the batter was way too runny to make actual balls. So I plopped ball-ish globs into the oiled baking dish and baked 10-13 min. They looked uncooked but i flipped them (carefully) and baked 12 min. more. I kept doing that (1-2 more times) until both sides were golden brown. They were nice and crispy outside and soft and moist inside. The taste was perfect. I used one 15-oz can of beans and slightly lowered the other ingredients (except the flour). I also just used dried parsley (3-4 tablespoons). I ground everything in the food processor until it was all smooth- maybe this was why I needed more flour? Directions seemed unclear as to whether it all needed to be processed completely. However I think this was why they were nice and moist. They came out better than I’ve had in restaurants actually. Usually I find falafel too dry. I just ate them as a snack and they were good both hot and cold. Made 15 falafels :)
