Liked it. I listened to some of the other comments on here - I cooked the rice first, then added it to the beef.

Really great base recipe for an easy dinner night! I like to add chopped green and red pepper as well as minced garlic and whatever cheese I have in the fridge (usually cheddar or Colby jack).
I’ve made this with spaghetti sauce and with regular tomato sauce adding extra seasonings. I also like to add a little cayenne pepper for a little kick. I bet some canned corn would be delicious in this as well.
You can really get creative with this recipe with whatever you have in the fridge

It was really tasty, I think I used too much sauce though… it turned out really soupy. I’ll use less sauce next time I make it!

The cream cheese adds a nice texture. Perhaps next time I should cook the beef through longer or use finer ground beef, and use a sauce that doesn't dominate the flavour as much.

Great!
I used Mexican shredded cheese towards, the end. And I use Traders joes hot sweet Jalapeños in the meat and rice, and then BBQ sauce with pasta sauce (marinara).

It was so good my whole family loved it, everyone had around 5/6 tacos! & also I substituted chili powder for a tablespoon of el pato sauce.

I added taco seasoning instead of chili powder and served these in soft flour tortillas... delicious!

Easy to make but it sounded a little bland .. I added a orange bell pepper and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Definitely cook your rice prior ! I also increased the creme cheese by a tablespoon

Very delicious! I would definitely make it again and thought the cream cheese really tamed down the spiciness since I cannot handle a lot of heat. I used instant rice instead of regular rice and seemed perfectly cooked. I used a premade/italian sausage flavored tomato sauce which added some nice flavor.

It tasted really good. I will make it again, but I will use less cream cheese because I found it a tad too rich.

Really good! I have young kids, so I doubled the recipe but didn’t double the chili powder. They did great with it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I agree with other reviews to cook the rice before & it won’t take as long or be undercooked. Otherwise it was flavorful and my picky eater actually tried it

Following the advice of prior reviewers, I cooked my rice separately. I also used lite garden vegetable cream cheese because that was what we had on hand. Overall, an easy and adequate meal to make when all you have on hand is rice, ground beef, and pasta sauce.

my rice didnt cook well and turned out crunchy. i added mushroom and a tad bit more cream cheese...had good flavor.

I really wanted to love it... but it needed more seasoning and another element. Will try again in the future and make adjustments

Turned out pretty good. I added mushrooms, celery, red peppers and a can of whole tomatoes crushed without the juice. I also cooked the rice separately. I only added half the chili powder so 1/2 tsp but it still had quite a bit of heat.

So easy to make. I added some garlic, onion powder, and chopped green pepper to the mix. I did cook the rice separately. Topped the dish with some Mexican cheese and my family thought it was great. I will make this again for sure.

pretty great. my entire family enjoyed it, especially with Fritos and, thanks to someone else's recommendation, black beans. we used homemade tomato sauce, chopped garlic, and lactose free cream cheese. thanks!

Cooked everything separately because I didn’t want the rice to be undercooked. Also added a little jalapeño and some shredded cheese on top and it came out amazing! Took almost no time to cook!
