Surpringly really good and easy to make! I always double the recipe as it’s become a crowd favourite. I use three mackintosh apples with three granny smiths.

This is a versatile recipe. I made it with Granny Smith apples and followed the recipe and it was great. Sweet, but not saccharine. The next time I made it, I used 4 apples and rounded all the measures. Then added chopped prunes (1 cup) soaked in Fireball (1T) to the apples and chopped pecans to the crumble with extra fat to accommodate the extra dry ingredients. It is still great! And both made the house smell wonderful. This is now in my recipe box on my kitchen counter. Love it!
