Like other suggestions, I added red and yellow pepper and sliced mushrooms to the turkey . I thought it was a little heavy on the cheese amount, but surprisingly delicious.

Delicious! I seasoned the meat, added garlic with the onions and master gravy! Everyone loved it!

Pretty good. Quick, easy, tastes good, and a healthier alternative then some stuff I’ve seen out there. But I’m thinking of adding noodles to it but I’m not sure. I’ll try it next time

With a little adaptation, this was quite good. After reading other reviews, I added Cajun seasoning to the turkey, mushrooms to the spinach and used cream of celery soup (because that is what I had). Good comfort food on a winters night.

Fairly easy, would definitely add more veggies (peppers)

After reading the reviews, I adapted as follows:
- added about a tsp of Italian herbs to meat mixture
- sautéed a few sliced mushrooms with onion and garlic
- layered half of the mozzarella mixture on top of the meat mixture and other half on top of spinach and egg mixture
- added about a third cup of grated Parmesan to spinach mixture
- used one pkg frozen heat in bag spinach, cooled and drained
All in all we thought it was a good weekday recipe. I’d definitely make it again as it was very easy and seasonings could be altered as desired.

Made this on spur of the minute,+ after reading reviews, adapted to what i had on hand.
Was looking for a recipe for half ground turkey + half ground beef.
I cooked 16oz brown rice in butter + minced garlic,+ lined bottom of 13"x 9" with it,then added my meat combo(1lb each Turkey + beef) with sauteed shallots, garlic and mushrooms, tarragon, parsley and marjoram,2 cans cream of chicken, and about a can of half + half to rinse out cans.Had a tub of Ricotta that needed to be used,so layered over meat before mix of fresh + frozen spinach + 3 eggs( to which i added shredded mozarella, colby jack and a little cheddar).
Also used garlic salt to season each mix.
Had enough for a 9" x 7" second dish.
Glad i added some extra seasoning, and would have liked to have had more sauce to run into the rice.
Was pleased with complete meal in one dish.
My friend(who hates ground turkey)had 3 huge helpings!
Tap to rate wouldnt work for me,but I give **** out of *****!!

This was awesome. I used both frozen and fresh spinach. I used good quality ground turkey and motz cheese. I made it and meal prepped for lunches for the week. Heats up nice and tasted great. I will put this in the rotation for sure. :)

Ingredients didn’t mesh well

Very tasty! I’m on a soft foods diet post surgery, but wanted to find something with a bit of nutritional variety. I only had half of a pound on frozen spinach available, and I think that was just the right amount. Also I didn’t have mozzarella cheese so I used Colby Jack instead. For some extra flavor I also added about 1 t freeze dried garlic to the spinach mixture. I would make this again, and my 13 year old approves.

Soo my picky son loves it, and it was pretty good to me. Next time, I will add one or two cups of spinach, cause a 1 lb is a lot. I ended up using 3/4 of a pound which Was still a lot. I added Turkey bacon to the ground meat and seasoned the ground meat a little more. I only added cheese to top, but I will most likely put some in between next time. I also added 16 oz of paramsean and 1/2 cup of mozzarella, most likely use 1/2 cup of parmesan next time as well.

Was very pleased and will be making this again.

Great!!! I used a 8 ounce package of fresh spinach & layered the top with 4 ounces of Parmesan cheese along with 8 ounces of mozzarella. I also added to the ground turkey 4 ounces of shiitake mushrooms it turned out fantastic.

It turned out nice, my wife and 12 year old daughter said it was delicious. I also added shredded cheese with the mozzarella cheese. Next time I will use ground beef.

pretty good. i added some greek seasoning. it needed more. Definitely needed the 40 minutes.

Whoa, this came out much saltier tasting than I wanted. I even used “50% less sodium” cream of chicken soup. Next time, I’ll decrease salt to 1/2 tsp or eliminate it altogether.

Great meal! I substituted fresh steamed kale, and made my own Cream of chicken soup with an easy online recipe. Very tasty and easy and fast to make.

This was a waste of time and food. So bland. We choked it down for dinner and threw the rest in the trash.

I’m on a soft food diet for a few weeks post surgery. This recipe met my dietary requirements. I made a smaller portion using 1/2 the turkey & wilted baby spinach instead of frozen. I omitted salt, added extra black pepper & paprika. It was very good! I could see adding rice or even julianne potatoes in the future.

Yummly User 3 years ago
Delicious! I added paprika, onion powder and a lot more pepper. I also used shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese and served over brown rice. I will definitely be making this again.

this a good base but needs a few more things to help tie it all together. Thinking some pasta for volume and something for a flavorful kick.

Yummly User 3 years ago
i also used fresh spinach and cream of mushroom and a whole onion. only difference from the orginial recipe and i thought it was surprisingly amazing. next time might add more spinach and some mushrooms but it was very good!

I used cream of mushroom and fresh spinach. Used my own seasoning. It was really good. I’m not a salt overuser, and I didn’t find this dish salty at all. I only added a dash of Himalayan salt to the spinach. I also added a half can of milk to the cream of mushroom and added it to the meat.

It was an okay recipe. Like those before me mentioned, it is salty. And we didn't even add any salt. I would also say less spinach. To us it had a grainy and bitter taste. My children didn't like it and my husband said it was so so. Don't know if I'll be making it again.

Yummly User 4 years ago
It’s pretty good but I wouldn’t make it regularly! I’d do half the salt, a little less cheese and a little less spinach. And I love me some spinach! Great with franks red hot sauce on top

Yummly User 4 years ago
Really quick and easy. I used some of my leftover holiday turkey from the freezer, and my wife didn't like the salt level even without adding any more. I loved it as is. This recipe has a lot of potential for playing with the ingredients, such as different soups and/or cheeses, so I'll be working with it more in the future.

Yummly User 4 years ago
Good but salty. There is enough salt in the cheese so I would not add the salt.

Yummly User 4 years ago
Wouldn’t add the salt that was called for as the cheese was salty enough.

Yummly User 4 years ago
Great❤️Will be making it again

Even with all the adjustments, I do not plan to make this again. Thanks very much!!
