This was so amazing!! Added a sprig of summer savory and a sprig of fresh curry to the chicken/broth. Next time I might throw in a Thai chili as well.

Super good! I added some garlic chili oil sauce for taste and it was perfect.

very tasty! Would make again

Could have been a little more flavorful, but I also used low sodium chicken broth and low sodium soy sauce, so that could be to blame. Was still good enough that we cleaned the whole pot!

Very nice, simple to make.
I pre-cut and fried the chicken in a pan instead and added the chicken into the pot, with stock. Also the egg can be done beforehand, set to 4 minutes on an inch of boiled water, on the trivet in the instant pot.
Love Bok choy, especially being able to add veg from raw into the whole thing, doesn’t seem like cooking, is cool.
I saw some matchstick carrot slices on another recipe which might be a nice addition. Onto a pork ramen next time!

Simply delicious! This was my first ever Instant Pot cooking experience and with this meal we hit the ground running! The instructions were easy to follow and the whole process was simple and enjoyable. (I did add a little fresh ginger and a few chilli flakes - but only a little!). A most flavoursome dish . . . will definitely be having this again.

I follow the recipe, except for chili oil at the end, which I did not have, and it was easy and delicious.

Awesome recipe. Fresh jalapeño gave it a nice extra kick.

Fantastic. I literally got a pat on the back and a "dinner was delicious, mom" The chili oil, which I've never had, set it off. 😋

Always turns out delicious

Amazing!! I have made this numerous times and every time it turns out amazing. I use chili sauce at the end to add some spice and it just adds to the already delicious flavors

Great dish. I made a few adjustments based on the reviews. I seasoned the chicken with a little paprika...next time I might leave that out because it made my lips burn. I used bok choy and added mushrooms. I used the soy ramen packets and added all three soup packets to the soup instead of soy sauce. Finally, as the coup de gras, I added almost a tablespoon of Chinese 5 Spice seasoning, which I think really made it. My very picky son informed me it was the best thing I’ve ever made.

Made this for dinner tonight I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper and paprika and it was delicious! My husband already asked me to make it again ☺️

I doubled the recipe for my family. It took an hour and a half to make the first time but it was sooo good! It says the noodles get mushy but I ate the soup for lunch two days later and they were still fine. My family liked it too!

It was good and filling.

Great, man that chicken in instant pot turned out great, this is better then any noodle place you can find, for the reason being you can really tast home made flavors. Will make again definty.

I would make this again. However, I would use less chili oil.

Made it this afternoon for lunch and I loved it!! After reading some of the comments I used some sesame oil for cooking the chicken and also added some maggi seasoning to the dish. I will definitely try to make it again!! Thank you.

Delicious! I added cayenne pepper because I really like the heat but it was great on its own. First time trying bok choy and it was actually pretty tasty.

My boyfriend said it's his favourite meal I've ever cooked! Definitely a favourite in our house. So yummy!

Amazing! Added some toasted sesame oil and mushrooms... 10/10 would make again!

This is good stuff, with minor tweaking. If you can put something in to add extra depth and complexity to the broth, like dashi or maggi seasoning, you can take this pleasantly middling base up to the next level. This recipe is your starting point, not the end goal.
Also, though the directions specify this is not a leftovers meal, you can easily make it one. Simply do as the people who invented it do, cook the noodles separate, strain, put in your bowl, and then spoon the broth and goodies over top.

So, so good! After reading some reviews I used 8 cups broth instead of 4, next time I’ll do 6. I used 3 stalks of bok choy (stems and leaves), and 5-6 mushrooms. I also made fancy, marinated soft boiled ramen eggs and those were a huge hit!
