This was my first time cooking turkey, and it came out very juicy - basically a “medium rare” turkey! The skin was crispy and tasty and It was a 17 lbs turkey. Maybe this is just lack of experience on my part, but I wanted more flavour in the turkey meat itself.

Best turkey I've ever had, big hit, even with the little kids. Juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside. Everyone should try this recipe at least once, I'll never try to cook a turkey any other way!!!

Turkey turned out excellent. Really easy seasoning. Flavor was terrific. Skin came out crispy and delicious. Cooked a 20 lb turkey so it took closer to 3 hours. My modifications: I reduced butter to 1/2 c. (1 stick), substituted poultry rub from Trader Joe’s because I didn’t have paprika, reduced salt to 1 tsp because I used onion salt instead of onion powder. Would absolutely use this recipe again!

Fantastic! The skin was so crispy! Doesn’t break the budget with fresh herbs, I had all of the ingredients already in my cupboard!
