First try at lemon meringue pie for me. Your instructions were very helpful. As far as form, I need to practice some more. But the taste was very yummy!

Produces a VERY sweet pie. If I make this again, I love the tartness but I’m going to use less sugar in the filling. Also, as a first-time meringue whipper - it takes a LONG time. The recipe makes it sound like you click your heels together and 5 minutes later, poof, but it took quite awhile for the meringue to whip. Don’t give up. You’re not doing it wrong. It just takes time.

Recipe is poorly written, and you're definitely not supposed to bake the meringue and the lemon curd at the same time. Bake the lemon curd first. Pie came out basically liquid from the "weep-free" meringue having baked too long with the curd.

Easy to instructions and way easier to make then I expect!!! Haven’t sliced into it yet waiting for the 4th!

I usually don't bake but the instructions and recipe was so well done how could I mess it up and I revived nothing but complements on the pie.
