Good! I put some diced carrots and celery with the onions. I kept a few of the florets larger amd some small. Great flavor. Might be a little too much cayenne for this Alaska girl.

This is a very good soup. I added sautéed chanterelles which made it even more wonderful.

Add more cheese (old/sharp cheddar), add more bacon, double the cayenne, substitute a can of beer for some of the chicken broth, blend and you go from a 4 1/2 star to a 5.

My family of 5 loved it! I need to double the recipe next time. I used cauliflower rice, low sodium broth and minced garlic. Also added frozen green beans, corn and spinach. If I had fresh broccoli I would’ve added that too.
