It was very delicious, however not very filling, we both had 1,5 servings an we added an extra paprika to it.
perhaps expend the recipe with vegetables.

Husband liked it, and the kids even ate it. I seasoned the meat before it cooked. Then, I mixed the salsa and water in with the meat after it was cooked. Then I put it in the dish. I added more cheese on top. Great with avocado after it’s cooked. Next time I will try ground turkey as the beef was a little greasy even after draining it.

My husband said this is his second favorite leftover now, the first is my chili :-) I did a few things differently like only adding 1 tbsp chile powder and adding taco seasoning. I mixed the ground beef and salsa together instead of layering. I do not like curdled sour cream so next time I will omit it in the casserole and just put some on top when it's time to serve. Great recipe! We ate it on tostada shells and it was sooooo yummly!!

my husband went for second's it was great I added real garlic not the powder plus i added a jalapeno pepper. I will make this again.

Not bad but a bit spicy for me. Can use more sour cream. Have with nacho chips.

yummy recipe with a few modifications. refried beans are black beans with lime. added taco seasonjng to ground beef and a small can of green chiles. also can of sliced black olives to the top.
