No flavor had to add some spices to make it eatable

I made this for my husband and he wasn't crazy about it. May have to tweak a couple spices.

I used white wine like it says in the recipe, not white vinegar. Glad I did because it was already acidic and the cumin was strong. There was no salt in the recipe and I failed to season it pork before cooking. Needed salt, ohhh salt.

This was delicious, though I am only giving 4 stars for a few reasons. 1. There is not enough seasoning for 4 pork chops; not to completely cover them anyway. And don't go nuts after the fact and try to double up on seasoning; I did and ended up overdoing the Cayenne and making mine very spicy hot! Fine if you like them that way, but...still delicious taste under the heat though. 2. It cooks longer than listed. Pork has to have a temperature of at least 145 degrees to be edible. Measure it with a meat thermometer. 3. And last, I would cook it on lower heat. I lost almost all of my sauce and all of the onions to the bottom of my pan, no need to reduce, it all burned on the pan! At the last minute I added some extra orange juice and that saved it. But the chops were cooked perfectly and the meal was delicious. Perfect recipe if you tweak a couple of things.

This was wonderful, I made saffron rice and plantains. Complimented with a side salad...I will definitely make this again!

This recipe if eaten by non/pork eaters would bring Peace to the Middle East

This was moist and delicious! I also halved the cayenne, since we have small kids. I loved the combination of the tanginess with the spice.

I didn’t have any lime juice, so I substituted lemon juice

Overall this was a great dish. I made a slight change to the recipe so the four star rating was mostly like due to my experimentation. I didn't have white wine so I added silver tequila to the OJ and lime mixture. The flavor was good but I could taste a hint of the tequila. The white wine flavor would have melded better.

We loved it. I didn't have any wine so I added an equal amount of marinade. I think you could just as easily substitute marinade in place of the separate sauce. Scrumptious!
