The key is the crawfish- they need to be from Louisiana and not imported - made this, fried okra and Old Bay cheddar biscuits, for friends on Sunday and they are now crawfish crazy too. Recommend using Crystal hot sauce versus Tabasco - more flavor and a milder heat.

I did it little differently the water that I got from the shrimp and crawfish putting butter and creole seasoning I drain it in a bowl. Then I sauté the vegetables onion and pepper with butter and garlic then I put the flour in put the tomato sauce then the both left to make more sauce added nice flavor!!! And I put chicken both in the pasta water!! More pop!! It was sooooooo yummy!!

Summer time perfection. Followed recipe exact, except used white rice in lieu of the past (wifey has celiac so gluten is verboten). Quick and delish.

This dish was delicious! Will definitely make it again. I mixed up the sauce part of the recipe but it turned out great nonetheless.

It was good. The only thing is that I would like a recommendation of a brand for the Cajun seasoning. I didn't care for the one I had.

Came out awesome
I did have to add a bit more spices long with creole seasoning.
And a couple of drops of Tabasco.
