Very good, I used a ham bone from Christmas so it was saltier than I cared for but still good!

I liked the recipe. I used frozen blk-eyed peas (all available in the store) so i don’t think they came out like I expected. I used ham hocks for additional flavor. Recipe was easy and i will use next time and try w/fresh peas.

I’ve made twice. Tasty and easy. I don’t know how “authentic” anything it is, but everyone in my household enjoys it very much.

It's an ok recipe, easy crockpot meal, but it doesn't have the level of flavor that most Cajun recipes do. I like the bacon and ham combo, but it needed some old bay.
