Its a quick and easy recipe but for me personally there wasn't enough flavor.
I added diced chicken breast to the recipe and used tomato sauce instead of paste to reduce the "tomato-y" taste which my family and I aren't too keen on. I also didn't add any cayenne, although in hindsight maybe I should have, despite the fact I don't like dishes that are too hot spice-wise.
I will make it again because we all enjoyed it, but probably double or even triple all the spices next time. I may also add some other spices such as turmeric, cumin, nutmeg and even some chicken bouillon. I also wonder if day-old rice (such as used in egg fried rice) would taste better. Another thing I can try.

I made this recipe yesterday and it turned out great. I added frozen vegetables and I’ll make it spicier next time but other than that I’ll follow the directions again as written. I’ll definitely be making this again... can’t wait!!!

Turned out prettt great, and the spices really brought out the spice in the rice, which is what I love so much.
