I like the results but I don’t like what it does to my oven. Especially since I’m a baker, don’t like the bacon grease that splatters on the oven walls nor the bacon
odor. So it’s a little ingenious to say “no mess.”

This is so flawless! Whoever figured this method out, deserves a YUMMLY award, for most innovative. No need to turn/flip them 1/2way! Easy clean up too.

Needs a bit more time, but good.

turned out great but checked every 5 minutes.

I like the guided view. Bacon turned out fine and no greasy mess on the cooktop. It’s a win for me.

Easy peasy! Keep in mind the timing will depend on the thickness of the bacon and your preference for doneness.

Agree with previous commenters! This is how I do it now.

Turned out great. I cooked it for 15 instead. My family likes soft bacon.

I have been doing it wrong all these years

Yummly User 3 years ago
been doing it for years. the only problem with it is the oven gets really greasy over time. self clean oven more often or it will build up yeally bad.

Never made my bacon in the oven before, this was very good and tasteful. Will be making more!

I’ve been using this method for years. You will never fry it in a pan again.
*** you need to watch it. Cooking times can vary greatly from oven to oven***

Great! So easy. Watch the bacon closely and start checking it after 10 or 15 minutes. A lot of times it cooks a lot faster than the time calls for. No more pan frying! Yay!

I followed exactly as it says and my bacon ended up burnt.

very easy to make and quick

Very simple and easy, did I mention really crispy!

AWESOME!!! No modifications other than increase time for crispier bacon.

I left mines in a little longer to get it crispy

This works beautifully! Don’t forget to flip the bacon slices halfway through. For crisper bacon use many paper towels to blot up the fat before flipping. Also for a little sweetness, lightly sprinkle bacon with brown sugar before baking and sprinkle the bacon with a little more brown sugar after flipping and blotting! It’s great bakin’ bacon, no fakin’!
