Tasted like grandma’s. I did substitute half and half for the milk. And used stale French bread for most of the bread. Also freshly grated nutmeg ! I baked it in a glass deep dish pie plate . It got rave reviews . Will be making this again .

used lavender bread 🍞 💜 with nutmeg and vanilla but no cinnamon. next time will use brown sugar or less sugar. came out delicious but a bit too sweet.

Turned out great! I used cinnamon raisin swirl bread and probably should've cut the sugar back a bit because of that. It was a little on the "too sweet" side. Other than that I will most definitely be making this again.

The temperature was the over 175 degrees, but I still thought it was under cooked. I cooked another 30 minutes and it was delicious.

SUPER YUMMY!! I added a bit more sugar on top so it could melt and get warm on the top.
