Turned out really well. I added green beans to it as well and doubled the sauce. Will make again.

This is my go-to for a weekday stir fry. I substituted shrimps for the beef and used a variety of vegetables (peppers, carrots, broccoli, onion, mushrooms) and doubled the sauce mixture. Everyone loves this recipe.

I made this with green beans and it was perfectly tasty. There was only huge heads of broccoli at the store and I hate waste. You could use a variety of vegetables with this sauce. Asian cooking is great because of all the vegetables. We loved it and will make it again.

Turned out so well!!!!

Fast and easy to make. Weirdly, I find that the broccoli was the most delicious part. Though the flavouring was a bit bland. I was in a citrus mood so I added some lemon juice for flavour (lime would have likely been a better option). I'll be sure to make this again, but will modify the recipe for improved taste.

Excellent! Quick, simple and perfectly tasty

I will mention I did not have broccoli so I used some other vegetables. It doesn’t really matter though because all of them except for some of the mushrooms boiled away (the mushrooms were basically gone too).
I read this recipe and felt it was relatively straightforward. When I began to make it though it completely fell apart. Moving the meat and vegetables back and forth and adding oils to the pan at various points became so confusing I finally gave up. I am also is worried that this meat is not fully cooked and may make me sick. I felt I had to leave it on the heat because I was concerned the meat wasn’t cooked so I tried my best to follow the steps in the recipe and I thought I did, but as you can see from the photos, it came out as one big, black, burned, sticky, colossal disaster. The sauce turned black very quickly. Also, it tastes AWFUL!!! I have undercooked meat, overly cooked vegetables, together in a burned, sweet, caramel soup. If I wasn’t so broke I would feed this garbage to a dog but unfortunately I have to eat it and also save some for tomorrow.
I honestly thought this recipe was easy to follow and straight forward. It is not. Unless you have a lot of skill and confidence, I would not attempt this. You may end up like me with hours of cleaning and barely edible food.

Very good but a little bland, I added chili flakes and peppers as well as other seasonings. I also added stir fry noodles!

I made a double batch think there would be left overs! Nope all gone 👌
Make sure you use salt reduced soy sauce otherwise very salty but still very yummy

The corn starch made the meat and contents of pan very goopy, I would try a different way to tenderize the meat. Honestly this didn’t have much flavor, I had to spice it up soooo much just for it to taste good.

It was pretty good. The kids liked the meat but not the vegetables

I usually dont like stir fry that much but i made this for my family and it blew my mind 10/10

Pretty good, though the cornstarch/water mixture gave the beef a weird, gloppy coating. I would skip that step if I make again and see how it goes. Flavors were good. I used fresh ginger instead of powder.

You could use any combination of meat and veggies with this and it’s still great! So quick and easy when I’m super hungry:) I did just veggies this time and it tasted delicious!

The flavour was delicious as well as the meat being tender. I added onion to the dish which added to the flavour

It came out amazing! Added some chili flakes

Came out pretty good. I’d maybe use a bit more pepper and use smaller broccoli. The broccoli I grabbed was giant.

Turned out well! Would probably use some ground pepper when I make it next time. Quick and easy

Sooooo good! I couldn’t find cornstarch in my supermarket (Australia) but regular flour worked just fine. I used flank steak which is really cheap and it was super tender.

We used vegan beef and Added Mushroom. Very good.

Good but I would reduce ginger to 1/4 tsp. Very quick prep which was great
