Spicy. I halved the pepper count and still pretty zippy. Overall, not bad…

Added Pintos as well as ground beef + Guinness Draught ( made the stew thicker ) Used a blender on the sautéed veggies too ( silky base makes for great enjoyment )

I made this for a Chili Cookoff and won 3rd place :) I love it! This is the chili I make when I am wanting chili. I recommend you try it!

Loved the recipe and the ingredients. Wanted to make something different and this recipe delivered. When I prepared it, I did not find ancho chile powder so I added a puréed whole ancho chile that I prepared in the blender and that added even more depth to the flavor.
