I made this last night to use up some fresh veggies from my garden. The only thing that I will do differently is drain the diced tomatoes before adding them to the food processor. Overall a good recipe.

Very easy and tasty. For our tastes we would add 2 hot peppers and also some Chilies in adobo sauce for a smoky flavor. Definitely needs fresh tomatoes. Also added culantro with the cilantro. The Consistency was spot on as was the flavor. Very adaptable to your own tastes. I did put in the chili and cumin and really didn’t taste it but I’m sure it adds to the meld. Maybe after sitting in the refrigerator will taste it. All in all a great salsa,😃

I loved this salsa. Easy, and very flavorful. Patti didn’t season enough.

This was gross. I did not like it, and neither did my family. It did not taste at all like restaurant salsa. I normally agree with the reviews on here. I'm not sure what the deal is with this recipe. I followed it exactly, and it basically tasted like I was sucking on a raw tomato. I know that salsa is mostly raw tomatoes, but it should really have a more balanced flavor.

Very easy and good recipe. i have never used cumin in salsa before but it added a great Texmex flavor to it.

Added 2 Jalpenos (I like it spicy) and extra lemon juice - YUMMY!

I used 3/4 of a red onion along with the green onion and and I feel like onion is by far the most prominent flavor. However, the salsa is a good consistency and preparation was quick and easy with my food processor. I’ll be making some modifications if I choose to make this recipe again. Perhaps more chili powder, cumin and sugar.

Great. We added some green chillies and chaat masala, lemon & salt to make it zingy

made some smaller changes, but very good nevertheless

Best salsa recipe made to date. Only minor change I made was I added two Serrano chilies.

Delicious! Used more cilantro and lime juice than it called for though.

i really liked it. it definitely fulfilled its promise of being 'restaurant style'. very nostalgic. I omitted the jalapeno to make it more mild, and forgot to add sugar. I probably would leave the sugar out next time too, as this recipe doesnt need it (plenty of natural sugar in the tomatoes).

Great! I added more jalapeños than listed

Turned out pretty good. Added more garlic, green chili’s, salt, more chili powder and used fire roasted diced tomatoes.

Super yummy. I doubled the recipe because I had a bunch of home grown tomatoes I wanted to use. made wayyyy too much salsa, haha. I also added a little more jalepeno so it's more on the spicy side. Will definitely use this recipe from now on.

Made this for Cinco de Mayo and it was amazing! Used a blender and was really simple and cheap to make. The whole family loved it. Never buying jared salsa again.

I added some tomato paste and then heated it up to boil so it keeps longer. Besides, it is much cheaper to make here in Indonesia than buying.

Beautiful salsa! However, I grew up on my teen and young adult years in SoCal with trips to Mexico and have been making fresh salsa for years. Never once did I have a true Mexican salsa with cumin or chili powder in it. Those ingredients belong in Chili and beans. So for me, they stay out of my salsa! To each his own! Ole’! 🤷🏼♀️

delicious! very flavorful! i added a 1/2 tsp of cumin to it and blended it in the ninja bullet cuz i like my salsa more runny and less chunky.

This was a GREAT base for starting the salsa of your choice. I love a TEXMEX KICKIN’ kinda sauce, so I added 1/3 white onion, 1- Serrano pepper, 10 oz can of Rotel Mild, more salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder and Ancho Chile Pepper . Great recipe!
