- 1 lb. Brussels sprouts (stemmed and halved, if small, leave whole)

- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 lb. Italian sausage links (fresh hot, or sweet, bratwurst, chorizo, or any sausage that you like may be substituted)
