- 5 lb. pork shoulder (bone-in skinless, *, like Boston butt, pork butt, or shoulder roast)
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. rub (spice, see below)
- 8 cloves garlic (peeled & crushed)
- 1 onion (peeled and chopped)
- 1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1 Orange (large)
- 1 lime juice (only)
- rub (Spice)
- 1 tsp. spices (each of the following dried)
- cumin
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- chili powder
- cayenne pepper
- oregano
- white pepper
- black pepper
- sea salt (like THIS salt or THIS salt)
- cinnamon powder (I love this Ceylon cinnamon powder)
- raw sugar (organic, optional - omit to keep it sugar-free or use your favorite sweetener)
- 8 lb. pork shoulder (I use the same amount of onion, garlic & broth, but double the spice rub, orange, and lime.)

This pulled pork is amazing. I use it for BBQ sandwiches and carnitas mostly. So good.
