The pudding was to sweet but a good start. I will try again with less sugar. I will also double the recipe because you can’t do layers it you don’t.

I followed review advise and reduced milk to two cups and used half cup half and half and I used 4 tablespoons flour . Flavor was great . Consistency was perfect .

Great recipe but couldn’t get it to thicken so I upped the flour to 5 Tbsp and done 1cup of milk, 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and 1 cup of evaporated milk. I also dropped it down to 1 cup of sugar

I had doubled up to fill my serving dish. My mom made the best banana pudding ever from scratch. I use to make it with her throughout my childhood. She passed away and I didn’t remember cooking instructions or measurements. She never measured anything!!! I found this recipe which had all of her ingredients. OMG it tastes almost exactly like hers!!! Brought me to tears. I will pass this one on to all of my kids, so glad I found it!

This is the same recipe my Mom used to make I do remember her using Pet’s can milk for half of the milk she did that for so many of her dessert’s and it taste very rich and creamy. This never disappoints!

Pudding never thickened it was so runny and soupy nice flavor though but definitely wasn’t banana pudding

Delicious and simple. The bananas I used were too fresh, I would recommend using bananas that are a little riper but not banana bread ripe, if that makes sense.
