I leave out the saffron and replace with adobe seasoning on the chicken. I also don't a the Spanish chorizo which works find if you adjust the other spices.

Love this recipe for someone who is starting out cooking it was pretty easy but, it suggest to have 3 teaspoons of kosher salt but only had you use 1. The rice did not tirn out even but over all its a keeper.
I love a dish that you make that while its cooking, you can clean. I only have plates to clean up after the meal, because I cleaned as I went.

Horrible, I grew up eating authetic spanish food is the one is not close. lacks flavor and too much saffron, also the cook time was about 2 hrs for the rice to finish in a dutch oven.

This is delicious! I didn't have saffron, so I just omitted it with no problem. Also, I don't have a dutch oven, so I made it in a frying pan and then transferred the rice mixture to a casserole dish and baked it for 50 minutes on 400* F.

Awesome flavor. Saffron can be expensive so I replaced it with two packages of Sazon Goya seasoning.
