This recipe is great. My 3 boys loved it. The flavoring is close to Arroz con Gandules which I make often. Thanks for the recipe

It was way too bland for an adult.
I made this as an ingredient of my burritos. Added 1 tsp paprika, 1 Jalapeno, 1/2 cup diced tomatoes, another 1/4 cup onions.
If using it as a side dish, also used chicken stock & 2 bouillon cubes (1/2 inch square). Leave out the Jalapeno & the kids will like it

Everyone loved this rice dish - and that’s a first! Thank you for the recipe. I did make a switch, 2 cups of chicken stock instead of 2 cups of water, because I love the extra chicken flavor.

Great! I added chopped celery, carrots and red pepper when sautéing the onion and used chicken broth i stead of water. I added fresh peas about 5 minutes before finish.

When all four of us love something, it goes into the permanent rotation. This is fantastic! I subbed in scallions, but otherwise followed it. Delicious!

Easy and simple recipe I was able to make with what I had laying around the house
