Description
A frittata is a quick and easy crustless quiche that begins on the stovetop and finishes in the oven. Fresh vegetables and nutty-tasting Gruyere cheese make this version a slam-dunk for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Feel free to change up the filling by adding fresh thyme or chives. You could also sub in cherry tomatoes, feta, and fresh basil, or diced zucchini and Parmesan cheese. Optional but delicious toppings include sliced avocado, salsa, and hot sauce.
