This recipe was “the bomb”. My kids who hate cauliflower, will love this.

I love to give a recipe its fair chance as the author shares first and we enjoyed it. I read the reviews with suggestions after…so next time I will take the advice to use a little more maple to balance the sweet and sour more and thicken sauce on the stove with a little more cornstarch. This is a yummy meal that we will enjoy again and again.

Really delicious! And not that hard to make.
Used honey instead of maple and let it fry for a little longer before putting on the oven. It was great!

One of my new favourite ways to eat cauliflower.

Pretty good! I followed the comments and baked the cauliflower and heated the sauce on the stove. I also increased the syrup as I found the flavour too vinegary at first. Delicious with rice, capsicum and peas.

was ok. didnt quite taste the same as expected but was still nice. Managed to combat the sogginess a little by frying and then baking the cauliflower without the sauce and cooking the sauce on the hob

Was a bit soggy. Sauce was good though.

Very tasty! A little mushy though. I also added more corn starch to thicken the sauce. Will still make again.

came out a little mushy but the sauce tasted good

They were great. I used the pointers from some of the other reviews. Bake before sauce. Thicken sauce on the stove. Coat the cauliflower with the now thickened sauce. Bake for a bit longer.

Really great. It was more tart than I expected. Modified the method to work with an air fryer by tossing and spraying oil during the first frying stage for 10-15 mins till it browns. Tossing it three times. For the baking stage I heated the sauce to thicken it before tossing and coating the fried cauliflower. The coated cauliflower was then put back into the air fryer for 8 minutes.

We added onions, broccoli and red peppers and it was great.

This was delicious! So satisfying, and easier than cooking chicken!
I used garlic cloves instead of garlic salt, and added ginger. Definitely use sesame oil if you have it, and the sesame seeds make it! You could easily sub honey for maple syrup if that’s what you have on hand. Tip- pour the sauce into the pan you fried the cauliflower in, and mix there before pouring onto the baking sheet.
Served with white rice and fresh green beans. Will make again!

It’s very good. Next time I make it, I put cauliflower into sauce and mix before putting all on baking sheet.

Way better than the typical candy-red sweet & sour dishes you usually see, plus it’s really easy!

This recipe was sooooo tasty! The outcome was most definitely not like the picture, but it didn’t matter in the end, because of how good it was. I am definitely going to make this again.

WAYYY TOO VINEGARY! I couldn’t stomach it, I put baking soda in it and it still barley could handle it.

Really loved the sauce and super easy to make, cauliflower just wasn’t as crispy as I had expected

It was excellent. I used flour instead of cornstarch and it worked out well. No need to add any extra spices

This is so good, great base recipe.

Delicious! I used my air fryer for the cauliflower and made the sauce in a small saucepan. The sauce thickened nicely. The cauliflower wasn’t as crisp as if I had deep fried it but that’s ok- I don’t like a lot of oil. Added some additional steamed veggies as garnish ( red/yellow peppers and some snow peas for fresh flavor. Next time I may add a little ginger to the sauce. Definitely going to make this again 😋

This is absolutely delicious. My husband and I didn't miss meat at all. I followed the other reviewers' method of roasting the cauliflower by itself and heating the sauce on the stove. It thickened up nicely. Thank you!

I skipped frying the cauliflower. I followed the oil/cornstarch, baked the cauliflower for 15 minutes. In the meantime, I heated the sauce on the stove to thicken it with the cornstarch. When the cauliflower was done, I coated it in the sauce and put it back in the oven for a bit before serving. It was delicious and super easy to make!

Delicious!! Roasted the cauliflower without the sauce. Brought sauce to a boil on the stove while cauliflower was cooking, then mixed them together. Total hit.
