This is a keeper. Complex flavor combo. Next time I’ll leave off the extra 1/2 tsp of salt though. The fish oil provides plenty of salt.

I marinated the thighs for a couple of hours, and pan fried, uncovered, with all the marinade ingredients over medium high for a few minutes on each side to brown up, then simmered, with lid slightly covered until reaching the final temperature.
An excellent recipe! So full of flavor!

really good - even better next day. next time i might add some hot pepper flake for a little heat.

Oh my!!!! This was so easy to make! I didn’t have fresh Thai basil on hand so I just used dried basil, added onion and garlic to the marinade. Marinating is key to the flavor. I premixed the ingredients and set the thighs in it for 3 hours. A must on the grill….you get some crunchy bits from the brown sugar! Bon appetite! Loved this dish!!!!
