Great recipe! I’ve tried a few Dutch baby recipes, and this one definitely turned out the best. All four of my kids ate it for breakfast.

I did 8 eggs and doubled and made my own

A quick and easy recipe that was satisfying for the family. The pancake was light and fluffy with a semi-sweet taste. The hint of vanilla is perfect. Next time I’ll add nutmeg for a greater depth of flavor.

Because I lack an oven, I cooked this on a stove top. With a good pan and careful monitoring of the flame, the pancake came out perfectly. This is a great recipe and I is now in my favorites.

this puffs perfectly everytime. my husband and 3 year old love it. it is always golden bown on the outside and custardy on the inside. The only modification I made was doubling the vanilla. I've made it 3 times and will definitely make again. delicious with a blueberry compote.

Delicious. We are already thinking any making a savory version.

Great!
I did use a bit less butter.

I have always known these as French Pancakes for some reason. I have no idea why? But I decided to try a recipe of the interweb instead of the recipe we have in the family. These turned out so perfect!!! I have never had my "dutch babies" turn out so crisp and crunchy! Also we make ours in glass pie pans instead of a dutch skillet and i think this is what made the crunchy difference. Thanks so much for this.
BTW I recommend adding things like cinnamon and nutmeg or apple pie mixture straight to the blender to make an even more yummy breakfast!

It’s tasty but didn’t puff up very much. I cut a tablespoon off the butter and used it to caramelize apples instead, and that seemed to work fine.

I was between a 4 and a 5. It’s a little lacking in flavor. Maybe it was me leaving off the powdered sugar? Perhaps some lemon or something? I made it with a berry and mint fruit topping and it needed a touch of honey.
Mixing in cinnamon or vanilla beans would also be good.

Delicious I just followed the directions, quick to make and it came out great. I would add fresh fruit and syrup on top with a cold glass of OJuice.
