I made this for a family gathering. I was told it was the best pulled pork I have made so far. It had great flavor, a nice smoke ring, with just the right amount of sweetness complimented with a bit of kick. Smoked it on a pellet smoker and it was done in less time than the recipe estimated. Wrapped it and stuck it in a cooler to keep hot until ready to pull and serve. Will definitely follow this recipe again.

Great but smoke at 235 until the meat hits 200.

This was outstanding! I cooked it on convection roast in my oven at 225. The night before I stabbed the butt all over and had it marinate on the sauce overnight. Followed the recipe and put it right on the middle rack. Used a large pie tin under full of marinade to catch the fat. Cooked about and hour 15 per pound maybe a bit more. So delicious. The marinade mixed with the drippings was like a flavorful gravy. Fantastic!

Do not have a smoker so I did this in the over at 325F for about 6 hours. Marinated it for 2 days. It was fabulous but could not give it 5 stars as the amount of marinade was WAY, I mean WAY too much and my roast was easy 10lbs. I think someone else mentioned the same thing, wish I would have listened as it was really a waste of ingredients. Cut that in at least half I would guess. Mine was not "fall off the bones" or shredded like but beautiful, juicy, nice slices of pork and tender as you could want!

This was really good however I had to use Dijon mustard instead of yellow mustard. And still it was really good it was so good my husband said it was good.... and he never says that when, I cook :) thanks

Came out great, didn’t quite fall off the bone but I think that’s my fault since I’m just a beginner at smoking. Wonderful flavors and very juicy

I don't have a smoker so I did everything but put it in a crock pot. Turned out amazing! Kids inhaled it! I want a smoker now to try it in one since I'm sure it's even better that way.
